About
Snellville is built around its downtown area with parks and schools mainly out of the city center. Its also a major retail center for Gwinnett County with a large number of shops along “Scenic Highway”.
Reaching Snellville
- Travel south on Highway 124 from Lawrenceville.
- Travel east on Highway 78 from Atlanta and Stone Mountain.
- Travel west on Highway 78 from Loganville.
Both highways still passes through the center of town although for the past 15 years discussions have continued about a ringroad or the “Snellville Loop”.
Snellville Parks
- T.W. Briscoe Park is a 100-acre park just south of the city center on Lenora Church Road. The park hosts numerous activities for Youth and Seniors including Summer Camp, Swim Lessons, Soccer and Senior Trips.
- Lenora Park and Disc Golf Course encompasses 112 acres of land on Lenora Church Road.
Snellville Schools
Snellville has four main public high schools:
- Brookwood High School (North-west area of the city)
- Grayson High School (North-east area of the city)
- Shiloh High School (Outside the city to the south-west)
- South Gwinnett High School (Center city)
